Ladies,  mark your calendars for March 3rd, 2012 for our Women's Retreat. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

YOUNG AT HEART will be hosting a trip to the Renaissance Center in Dickson on March 6th for anyone interested in going. They will be seeing a show featuring the music of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney. They will leave the church at 9:30 a.m. If you are interested in going, call Mrs. Lottye ASAP.

  Men's Conference--March 15th      INKY

An amazing story of Faith & Perseverance.........Men (and boys) mark your calendars for March 15th, 2012. This is the day set aside for our Men's Conference. The guest speaker this year is Inky Johnson, a former UT football player. Come and find out how an injury that altered his plans for his future taught him to never give up hope or faith in the One who's plans are perfect. Registration begins at 5:30, dinner at 6:00 and the program will start at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 and include a steak dinner from Mallard's. (You may purchase tickets from any Deacon or in the church office.

UNITE (youth retreat at Jonathans Creek) April 13th - 15th

This will be a great time for students to come together and be transformed by Christ. Dates are April 13-15. Deadline for sign up is March 18.

CAMP - May 21st -25th

Put this on your calendar and don't miss it! Bryan Jerry (BJ) will be returning for another year as camp pastor! More details coming soon!    (check out the Youth/Discipleship Page for more details)

WORTH READING:

Krista McGee (granddaughter of Marie Brush) just recently wrote and had her first book published. The book called First Date, was inspired by Krista's passion for youth and youth ministry. First Date is a loose moderation of the book of Esther and involves the story of a quite 17 year old girl that learns about God's faithfulness by following His will. The book can be found in the church library and is recommended for teen-age girls.

PUPPET CONFERENCE: The puppet festival features work-shops, demonstrations, excitement, and spiritual challenge. The festival will teach you, challenge you, and equip you to effectively use puppets and other creative ministry tools to advance the gospel. The festival is February 24th & 25th at FBC, Collierville. We have one spot open if someone is interested in going. Anyone who is interested in any kind of creative ministry is welcome to come and go with us. (If you are signed up to go, please remember your $25 is due now in the church office). 

BODY & SOUL classes are on Monday and Thursday nights at 7:00 P.M. This is a strength and flexibility class. For more information contact Sandi Roditis at 415-2927. (Beginning February 20th, Body  & Soul will be back meeting in the CLC at the church. Hope to see you there!!!
